Canyon Creek Roof Company Inc. was founded by Fred L. Bolanz, Jr. in January, 1980. It is a private company, owned by Fred. Its original location was 605 S. Sherman Street in Richardson, Texas. (Canyon Creek moved to its current location in 2003.) Fred's diverse background includes electro/mechanical engineering and general contracting. The Bolanz' have a long history in Dallas. Fred's grandfather started the first insurance and real estate company back in 1873, and Fred proudly carries on the same entrepreneurial spirit.
Fred is involved in the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) and the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT). Fred is a former officer on the board of directors for the NTRCA and has served on the board of directors for RCAT. Fred is certified residentially and commercially by the state association. Fred also has a Texas State Property/Casualty Adjustor's license. These certifications are the forerunners of licensing in the state of Texas for the roofing industry.
Canyon Creek is proud of its reputation. We can count thousands of happy customers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. Many roofing suppliers have used our service for their own personal roofs. Endorsement of a manufacturer's product helps expand our business as well as the manufacturer's. Our goals of customer satisfaction and integrity have been met year after year.
The company proudly participates in the Center for Housing Resources project in Dallas each year by donating a roof installation for a needy family. We also annually sponsor the Salesmanship Club, which has been helping troubled children since the 1930s.
